What is note taking ?
Ø Writing down ideas from lectures and readings in our own words.
Why should we take notes?
v Helps us to pay attention in class.
v Helps us study for Final exam.
v Help us improve our memory.
v Help us take ownership of ideas.
v Help us engage our senses.
v Help us organize and process data and information.
v Help the lectures test student on how well they captures given information.
How we should take notes?
ü Seating near the front or center for better vision and hearing.
ü Avoid distraction

ü Write Date and label notes
